Rostering Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Rostering Coordinator role on permanent full-time basis. Come Join our team at St Basil's Homes NSW & ACT, you will be working alongside an incredibly supportive Community team.

About the role:

• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date rosters for all staff, ensuring staffing levels meet operational requirements.
• Liaise with Managers, Care Coordinators, and staff to gather and confirm scheduling requirements and preferences.
• Maintain up-to-date records of staff availability, leave requests, and any special scheduling requirements.
• Ensure all rosters comply with relevant labour laws, including working hours, overtime limits, and rest breaks.
• Utilise rostering software to create and maintain schedules efficiently.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on how to access rosters.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A degree or certification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in rostering, scheduling and workforce planning.
• Familiarity with rostering software scheduling systems (e.g. The Lookout Way)
• Understanding of labour laws and regulations, particularly in relation to work hours, overtime and breaks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
