About the position: 

This leadership role is central to our person-centred approach which ensures enhancement of the psychological, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical well-being of our residents. Our Leisure & Lifestyle team make it a reality!  

You will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the Leisure and Lifestyle team in:

• Delivering recreation activities to our residents and actively support them to maintain their physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social wellbeing.  

• Assessments, reviews and ongoing evaluation of the lifestyle program to ensure positive client outcomes and support ongoing education and improvements in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards 

• Encouraging our clients to attend and engage in our numerous programs specifically created to meet the needs of our residents

About you: 

You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, to support them to facilitate independent living, health and happiness. You are experienced in leading teams to deliver quality programs in a multicultural aged care organisation.

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

• Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or working towards (or equivalent)   

• Experience in leading lifestyle activities 

• Strong ability to develop lifestyle care plans  

• Knowledge of Aged Care National Quality Standards 

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as the confidence to work independently.
